Sculpture Games - Kick-off Party

The 2018 Sculpture X-Games is a week-long creative competition that will take place April 28-May 4. Teams of artists will create a sculptural installation on any theme, using any materials outside the ideaXfactory (corner of Mill and Boonville in downtown Springfield).
The Kick-off Party will feature demos and hands-on activities for the public to enjoy: hot aluminum pours, raku firings, clay building, DIY hands-on sculpture building. The serious competition will continue through the following week, and the final installations will be on exhibition for the May 4th First Friday Art Walk.
