The South Asian Students Association at Missouri State University (sponsored by the Missouri State University's Diversity Fund) will host the second annual Holi event.
The event is free and open to all.
Holi is an ancient Indian festival, known as the festival of colours or the festival of love. The festival is said to signify the victory of good over evil, and the arrival of spring.
The event will include food, music, color throwing and the use of water. Come prepared in old shorts, flip-flops and an old T-shirt you would not mind getting colored and wet. We will provide shower caps in case you don't want your hair colored. Plus some of our members and friends have been preparing a little surprise entertainment for everyone.
Please feel free to invite family and friends, and have a great afternoon in the outdoors.
