Writers Kate Lebo and Sam Ligon are touring the country with their anthology, "Pie & Whiskey: Writers Under the Influence of Butter & Booze," an aptly named collection of poems, stories and essays on pie, whiskey and the combination of the two.
They will read from the anthology and talk about their project at the Student Exhibition Center at Missouri State University.
The event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the College of Arts and Letters, the Department of English, the Creative Writing Program and Moon City Press.
