COM Week 2018 kicks off today with guest lecturer Dr. Stanley Deetz, professor emeritus at the University of Colorado Boulder. Lunch will be provided.
Prior to his retirement in 2016, Dr. Deetz taught courses in communication theory, public deliberation, organizational change, and collaborative decision making. He was the founding director of the Center for the Study of Conflict, Collaboration and Creative Governance; a President's Teaching Scholar; and the director of the Peace and Conflict Studies Conflict Program.
