Brick City Gallery is featuring two exhibitions Jan. 23-Feb 21.
In the east gallery - Keaton Wynn: "POWER PLAY"
Keaton Wynn exhibition of ceramic sculpture and mixed media collaborative installation feels like entering an archeological site, and examines ideas and manipulations of power as it applies to human institutions and psychology.
In the west gallery - Dick Lehman: "Celebrating Mystery in the Microcosm"
Lehman couples pots (bowls, vases, plates, cups) with macro photographs of small areas of their glazes, creating metaphor that has to do with taking the time to look at the substance of an entity, at the minutiae that is at the center of its being.
Brick City Gallery is located at 215 West Mill St., Springfield
Gallery hours are 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Mon-Fri, noon–4 p.m. Saturday and by appointment.
