MSU Opera Theatre is thrilled to present a fun frolic with the gods, goddesses and furies of Olympus and Hades. Offenbach’s exciting and light-hearted score creates a backdrop for all of the silliness that ensues when immortals decide to come play in the human world.
The classic tale of Orpheus and Eurydice is turned on its head when the gods of Olympus decide to visit Hades and Eurydice enjoys the affections of Pluto and Jupiter (but not of her husband Orpheus). Join us as we dance the famous can-can in this updated version of a timeless comedy at the Old Glass Place where parking is plentiful and the students are ready to entertain.
