Certification is vital to maintaining the high standards of the human resources profession. It also demonstrates that you have mastered the human resources body of knowledge and have accepted the personal challenge to stay abreast in the field.
The Management Development Institute will again offer a review course to assist in preparation for the national exam. The review course will incorporate the information that forms the base of the national test. We update the content for each review class incorporating all new regulations and current trends.
Eligibility Requirements
Questions regarding eligibility are answered in a free booklet, Certification Information Handbook, available from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) by calling 703-548-3440 or sending an email to hrci@shrm.org. This booklet also contains the registration form you will need to fill out to register for the PHR or SPHR exam. An additional fee is required for taking the exam.
