MSU Opera Theater Opera Scenes: The Roots of American Music Theater

MSU’s 2017-2018 opera troupe begins the season with a light and fun program of operetta and music theater scenes. Dancing, fighting, loving, playing - it’s all here wrapped in lovely melodies.
Music will include scenes from old favorites, such as Merry Widow, Mikado, Camelot, Cinderella and White Christmas, and composers, such as Offenbach, Kalman, Coward, Bernstein and Sondheim.
