Gerontology Club: Fundraising Event

Come join us for a FUNdraiser event on September 25th @ 1:30-3:30 in the PSU North Mall (just outside the PSU, on the lawn in front of the bear statue)! We're going to have a blast doing walker races and we'll be a selling popsicles for $1 (cash AND card accepted)! These funds help GER Club run our service events and our social events. They also help our club by providing us with better marketing ...materials, such as a GER Club table cloth for events.

We'll also have jars where you can get rid of all that loose change in your pocket! You can put change in the jar that correlates with your favorite celebrity older adult. Donations in the jars will help fund our Sharing with Elders gift drive for older adults during the holiday season.

We'd like to give a big shout-out to Glendale Gardens for supplying GER Club with walkers for this event!!!

Students-- wanting to be a member of GER Club? You can get club membership hours by attending this event! Although they do not count as service hours, your time counts toward club membership. Keep in mind you only need 5 hours to become a member!
