SAC Presents: Sustainable Fashion Show

To stress the importance of sustainability during Public Affairs Week, SAC will hold a fashion show using thrifted clothing. Designers will be invited to pick two friends to model outfits taken from the Missouri Council of the Blind Thrift Store a few weeks before the event and then show them off on the North Mall. The outfits will be donated by the store and the designers will be able to keep one of the outfits.

After the fashion show, a speaker from the Sustainability Department will discuss the dangerous nature of fast fashion, as well as the importance of shopping used.
