Remembering the Normal Heart: AIDS, Activism and Art in the Ozarks

LGBTQ+ activism is nothing new to Springfield or the Ozarks. Come watch a screening of “Remembering the Normal Heart,” a documentary that looks back on the controversial performance of the critically acclaimed play at Missouri State in the 1990s.
The screening will be followed by a panel with members of the original production to look at activism through theater. Co-sponsored by the MSU Theater Department and the Ozarks Lesbian and Gay Archives.
