Missouri author, Anne Valente, will be the featured author at this Moon City Press Reading Series.
Valente is the author of Our Hearts Will Burn Us Down (William Morrow/HarperCollins, 2016) and a collection of short stories, By Light We Knew Our Names (Dzanc Books, 2014); her second novel, Utah, is forthcoming from HarperCollins in 2019. Her short fiction appears in One Story, The Kneyon Review, The Southern Review and The Chicago Tribune; her essays have appeared in The Believer and The Washington Post.
Originally from St. Louis, Valente currently lives in upstate New York, where she teaches creative writing and literature at Hamilton College.
