Date and time
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, September 06, 2017
Description

How are you feeling in the aftermath of the recent happenings in Charlottesville, Virginia?  Are you concerned about potential impact this could have on the Springfield, MO community or at Missouri State? Join your peers and other key university personnel in an open discussion on possible emotions and fears, campus safety measures, and ways to manage the stress and tension caused as a result of this event and others of the like. Violence, hate crimes, and other injustice is playing out on the world's stage right now. Take this time to peacefully and respectfully reflect, ask questions, share experiences, and learn together. Immediately following the forum, there will be light refreshments in Meyer Library Rm 109, TRIO.

"The point in history at which we stand is full of promise and danger. The world will either move forward toward unity and widely shared prosperity - or it will move apart."   Franklin D. Roosevelt

Let's come together on one accord for the sake and safety of our university!
