Southwest Missouri supports a thriving hospitality and tourism industry. As a result, the area provides an ideal living laboratory for hospitality education and research. From internships to research, students and faculty of the Department of Hospitality Leadership work to connect classroom content with practical application.
Presenters Dr. Stephanie Hein, department head, and Dr. Albert Barreda, assistant professor in the Department of Hospitality Leadership, will highlight the academic and industry collaborations taking place in the department.
The luncheon will be held in the Turner Family Hospitality Room on the first floor of the Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center. Complimentary parking is available in the attached garage off of McDaniel Street. Feel free to arrive any time after 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at noon.
The Missouri State University Foundation is excited to host the Bears in the Know Luncheon Series. Thank you to Arvest, our presenting sponsor.
