Four guest speakers will focus on Springfield and southwest Missouri in 10-minute "TED-style" talks followed by five minutes of audience Q&A.

 Presentations include:

  • "Compassion Through Action" by Amy Blansit, chair of the Drew Lewis Foundation at the Fairbanks

  • "Smart Cities Build Better Communities Through the Use of Data Analytics" by Jeremy Clopton, BKD director of Big Data & Analytics, Digital Forensics, and instructor at the Management Development Institute at MSU

  • "What's Your Green Dot? How Springfield Area Colleges are Changing Campus Cultures" by Jenay Lamy, MSU Green Dot program coordinator

  • "The Communion of Art" by Patrick Mureithi, documentary filmmaker and singer-songwriter
