Description

The Third Annual MSU Undergraduate Literature Conference will be held for two days in April. Come and listen to MSU students read papers that interpret a wide variety of literary and cultural texts.

 

Each panel will consist of three student presenters.

 

Friday, April 21

12:20-1:10 p.m.: Women in Literature

1:25-2:15 p.m.: The Risks of Human Relationships

2:20-3:20 p.m.: Challenges to Gender Conventions

3:35-4:25 p.m.: Interrogating Race

5 p.m.: Keynote Address by Dr. Jonathan Newman, “Literary Confession and Social Exchange in the Middle Ages: The Case of Thomas Hoccleve"

 

Saturday, April 22

9-10 a.m.: Gender and Sexuality

10-11 a.m.: Sexuality in Popular Culture

11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Experimental Narratives

12-1 p.m.: Literary and Cultural Activism
