Community Language Open House

Missouri State University’s Foreign Language Institute and Department of Modern and Classical Languages invite prospective language learners to try our languages free of charge.
Our community open house is the perfect opportunity to see whether our language courses are right for you. Prospective language learners are invited to attend a brief lesson to meet the instructors and get a taste of what language learning is like.
Many of our courses are available after 4 p.m. Please review the Missouri State course catalog to confirm days and time.
Lessons will be 20 minutes in length to give you the opportunity to try multiple languages. Available languages include:
Arabic | Chinese | French | German | Greek | Italian | Japanese | Korean Latin | Portuguese | Russian | Spanish
Our open house is free and open to the public. Come alone or bring friends or family to try out one or more languages.
