
Dr. Kamran Bokhari, 1999 Political Science and 2002 MIAA (Global Studies) alumnus, will present a lecture titled, "Islamists, Jihadists, Autocratic Meltdown & Geosectarianism."
Dr. Bokhari is a senior analyst with the U. S. intelligence firm, Geopolitical Futures. He is also a senior fellow at the Center for Global Policy and a fellow with the Program on Extremism at George Washington University’s Center for Cyber & Homeland Security. He teaches the geopolitics of the Middle East & South Asia to Canadian military, intelligence, law enforcement, foreign policy and national security officials at the Security & Policy Institute in the University of Ottawa. He is the author of "Political Islam in the Age of Democratization" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
