Embedding Inclusion and Diversity into Syllabus

Faculty interested in embedding inclusion and diversity into your syllabus for the spring are invited to attend a preparation session at the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. 

Two sessions will be offered to better accommodate teaching schedules; Monday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 18.  Both sessions will run from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at the FCTL; Meyer Library Rm 204. 

Interested faculty should send their spring syllabus to fctl@missouristate.edu by October 12.  This will assist in setting the direction for the preparation sessions and providing you with feedback on how to embed inclusion and diversity pedagogy into your classes. 

Sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Gilbert Brown, Associate Provost for Diversity and FCTL Instructional Designers.  This is a timely topic appropriate for new and experienced faculty members.
