The Missouri State University Baker Observatory will be open for public viewing. We plan to look at the Moon (Oct. 7), Saturn, Mars, Venus, double stars, star clusters, nebulas, and galaxies through a variety of telescopes. The events will only be held if the weather is favorable. On the day of an event, check the Physics Department Facebook page for the latest information.
The Observatory is located at 1766 Old Hillcrest Rd. in Webster County. A traffic attendant will be at the intersection of Rose Bush Dr. to direct parking. Please use a red-cellophane-covered flashlight to find your way around the Observatory grounds.
