Description

Tri-State Water Resource Coalition and Missouri State University will convene their annual regional water conference to provide an opportunity for all stakeholders interested in water issues - cities, towns, counties, business and industry, agriculture, academics, utilities, elected officials, state and federal agency representatives, and other groups whose missions relate to water - to discuss current water issues and our regional water future. 

This event is open to anyone concerned with water issues.  

Topics for 2016 will include:

  • Cheap Water - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly
  • Convincing the Electorate to Fund Water Quality and Supply
  • The Impact of Water Conservation
  • Lessons from Flint: Water Systems are Dangerously Underfunded
  • A View from the Desk of Water Planners in Southwest Missouri

Cost: $125 both days, $85 Thursday only, $70 Friday only; elected officials and students may attend for free (please RSVP for accurate count)
