
Ryan McCoy received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO. McCoy is the Student Affairs Intern for Mission Development at Missouri S&T, as well as a researcher within the psychology department, determining RA hiring effectiveness. McCoy is the Vice President of Spectrum, an LGBT+ organization, arranging, contacting and hosting professional speakers and guests. As a Community Development Specialist, McCoy supported and fostered 25 students placed within temporary housing. As a Peer Involvement Advisor at Missouri S&T, McCoy worked one on one with students in an intervention program to assess and increase student involvement across campus. McCoy also collected data, and assessed and analyzed participant demographic and goal-oriented information. As a Resident Assistant & Senior Resident Assistant at Missouri S&T, McCoy facilitated programming to educate students on diversity, physical and mental health, and academic issues. As a Student Affairs intern within the Office of Leadership & Cutlural Programs at Missouri S&T, McCoy served on multiple multicultural planning committees. McCoy is an Alumni Member of the Missouri S&T LGBTQIA Advisory Committee, and on the 2016 Show Me Pride LGBT College Summit Planning Committee.
