Description

On September 2, MSU Opera Workshop will join forces with Giving Voice in presenting an evening of music and drama readings focused on youth homelessness.

Roseann Bentley, Greene County Commissioner 2nd District, will emcee the event.  MSU Opera Workshop (dir. Ann Marie Daehn) will sing from "Rent" and "La Boheme." Giving Voice (dir. Carol Maples) will follow with readings from "Throwaway Youth," a collection of stories compiled by Springfield native Nancy Fairbank. 

Author Nancy Fairbank will be available to sign books and answer questions.

A portion of book sales will benefit The Kitchen, Inc.
