Blackboard Learn: Jumpstart - White Belt Level Training

New to Blackboard? Start here! Jumpstart is the perfect place for new faculty and teaching assistants to start with Blackboard at Missouri State!

This course is the first level of the Blackboard Black Belt training series.  Participants will be introduced to the basic features and tools of Blackboard Learn and will be guided through the basic user interface, learn how to navigate the site, view both the instructor and student perspectives of a course, receive an overview of the core tools, and learn how to upload a syllabus, create an announcement, and make a course available to students.  

Registration Required - Register on My Learning Connection to reserve your seat. Masks/face coverings are encouraged, but not required.

Notes:

• This course will count as one activity towards your Certified Distance Educator Award.

• This course is also available as a self-paced, on-demand video course. No registration needed. You can find the Video Training Course library in Blackboard.MissouriState.edu in the Learning Management System Resources for Faculty organization, found under the Community tab.

• By completing this course, participants will attain White Belt Level in the Blackboard Black Belt Training Course Series.
