Open forum: Ashá S. Jones, exec. director of TRIO Programs candidate

Ashá S. Jones is currently the Director of Student Support Services at Virginia Commonwealth University. Ashá received her Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing, from the University of Phoenix, Ogden, Utah, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah. As an Upward Bound and first generation college student, Ashá is interested in developing diversity, cultural, academic and career programming. Ashá has experience in enrollment management, strategic planning, fundraising, grant writing, group management and coalition building. She has served as an Upward Bound Director, Student Program Coordinator, Academic Success Coordinator, Veteran Service Representative, Eligibility Specialist and Public Relations Coordinator.
