Dr. Maurice D. Gipson, University of Missouri-Columbia, will present a lecture titled "Black Dirt, Black People and Black Power: The Radical Road to Freedom in Arkansas."
Gipson will share some of the heretofore untold stories of activists that demanded radical change in Arkansas by embracing Black Power as an organizing philosophy.
