A BS in Geology can lead to a surprising and exciting career and life path! Meet an alumna who overcame disppointments to forge a unique and exciting journey that continues today - all grounded on the firm foundation laid in completing an undergraduate degree from MSU.
Debora Barr graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science, Geology in 1986. Her career and life path included more than 28 years of service in the armed and uniformed services, enabling her to live and travel abroad, experience wild animals in their natural habitat and serve for and alongside famous trailblazers. She is pursuing her fourth graduate degree, a doctoral degree, building on the foundation of her BS in Geology. Today, she is an associate pastor, author, podcaster and speaker. She is excited to experience what is next for her life!
