Come celebrate one of the most beloved Hispanic holidays with traditional sugar-skull decorating, papel picado art and cempazuchitl flower-making. Participate in the mini-altar diorama competition, "Calaveritas" poetry creation and the Catrin and Catrina contests. Visit the traditional altar and enjoy "Pan de Muerto" sweet bread. There will be live music from Mariachi Los Reyes and dances from Grupo Latinoamericano Dance Troupe.
This festival is organized by the Department of Languages, Cultures and Religions, in collaboration with Multicultural Programs, and the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. PSU Ballroom West will be transformed into an all-day festival. Stop by and celebrate these traditions and the spirits of the dead.
