Description

Poet Adam Scheffler, whose collection Heartworm was published by MSU's Moon City Press earlier this year, will visit the campus via Zoom to read from his work and answer questions. The virtual event will be held in Cheek Hall 102, where Scheffler will stream in live. Copies of Heartworm will be available for sale.

Scheffler grew up in California. He received his MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and his PhD in English from Harvard. His first book of poems—A Dog’s Life—was selected by Denise Duhamel as the winner of the Jacar Press Poetry Book Contest. His poems have appeared in Narrative, The Yale Review, The Common, The American Poetry Review, The Cincinnati Review, Verse Daily, Academy of American Poets Poem-a-Day, Moon City Review, among many other venues. He teaches in the Harvard College Writing Program.
