Citizen Scholars Nominations

The Board of Governors is soliciting nominations for the 2023-24 Citizen Scholar Award. This is the highest award available to Missouri State University students. Since the award’s inception in 2007, 95 exceptional students have been recognized for their stellar achievements with academics, community engagement and leadership.

We request your nominations for the recognition of six more outstanding Citizen Scholars. The nomination deadline is Sept. 7, 2023. Winners will be selected by a Board of Governors subcommittee and will then be introduced before the full board at the Dec. 14 meeting. The recipients, their parents and nominating faculty and staff will be invited to attend a dinner honoring the selected students on Dec. 14
