Please join the School of Accountancy and Accounting Club for "Learn to Love the Turbulence with Around the World Pilot Amelia Rose Earhart."
The engagement will occur during the Institute of Management Accountants Conference on Sept. 21 from 1-2 p.m. in the PSU Theater.
In 2014, Earhart flew a Pilatus PC12-NG aircraft 28,000 miles, crossing the equator six times, through 14 countries to complete a circumnavigation of the globe. Her parents, sharing the Earhart surname, wanted their daughter to have a name that would inspire her to live a life of passion and adventure.
Amelia is a commercial pilot, NBC journalist based in Denver, Colorado, and speaks internationally about what it means to reach our full potential through bold adventure and a solid flight plan.
This event is free and open to all students, faculty staff and the public.
