The Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP) designation from the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is recognized as a standard of proficiency in the administrative professionals field. Review Course costs and exam fees are paid for by the university one time per eligible employee.
The CAP Exam Review Course consists of seven, three-hour sessions between Feb. 16 and April 6, and provides an overview of the topics on the CAP exam. This course is offered by Organizational and Talent Development and facilitated by a qualified CAP certified instructor. It includes a study guide for exam preparation.
NOTE: You are encouraged to attend the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) - Orientation and Information Zoom session (Jan. 19) to ensure you understand the CAP process and that you meet all CAP requirements (including manager approval).
The university will pay the fees for the CAP Exam Review Course and for the application processing and examination fees for an employee's initial examination attempt.
