Description

Does the thought of going through the employment process give you cold feet? Most of us don't relish the thought of it. From filling out the application and writing your resume, to being "grilled" during the interview process. There are many strategies to improve your chances of success starting days, months, or even years before the interview begins. Taking advantage of career development opportunities before beginning the interview process can boost your preparedness and provide you with coveted visibility to the employer you desire. Careful completion of the application and resume are also vital components of moving from just another applicant to garnering an interview slot. Once chosen for an interview, statistics show you may capitalize on the behavioral trends of both the interviewer and the interviewee during the process. While interviewing is often considered stressful, strategic preparation may bolster your confidence and give you an edge toward success. This presentation is designed to provide practical tips and techniques for making a positive impression during behavior-based interviews.
