Computer Science Seminar - Tianqi Huang

Tianqi Huang will discuss the high-level rendering technology for Kindle. He will go over how the text and imaging display by rending on Kindle, how Kindle Reader works, and what is different from 2D rendering to 3D rendering. Tianqi will welcome all questions including the roles, the career path, Amazon, Microsoft etc.

Bio:

Tianqi Huang graduated from Missouri State University with a computer science bachelor's degree in 2016 and from Southern Methodist University with a computer science master's degree in 2019.

After graduation, he worked with the Amazon Kindle rendering team for 1.5 years to help develop and maintain the rendering engine for the Kindle app and eReader.

He currently works with the Microsoft Azure commercial purchasing team to help develop and maintain the purchasing pipeline for enterprise-level on cloud products.
