Computer Science Seminar - Seth Malone

Seth Malone will discuss the cloud in general when compared to traditional data centers. He will go over how cloud changes operations and development, how companies are leveraging the cloud, and how the cloud has changed some of the traditional IT roles.

No previous cloud knowledge will be needed. Will welcome all questions including the roles, the career path, AWS, IBM, etc.

Bio:

Seth Malone graduated from Missouri State University with computer science degree in 2010. After graduation he has worked in various departments of IBM for 10 years, most recently in IBM's Watson Health environment. Seth Malone currently works as a Solutions Architect in AWS where he helps enterprise level customers leverage the cloud through design, education, and discovery of new technologies.
