Abstract:
In this presentation, Dr. Chen will introduce and overview his past research efforts in the context of chasing the clean energy and environment dream with nanoscience and the graduate program at UMKC. That includes nanomaterials developments, photocatalytic hydrogen generation, photocatalytic pollution removal, rechargeable lithium ion battery, fuel cells, hydrogen storage, photothermal vapor generation, electrical hydrogen production, self-cleaning superhydrophobic coating, novel microwave absorbing materials, etc.
