Please make plans to attend Academic Advisor forums this semester. All sessions count toward the three hours needed for annual renewal of the Master Advisor designation. The forums are available to the advising community, so please encourage colleagues to participate.

Better Understanding the Transfer Process: A Transfer Advising Workshop

Coordinated by the Transfer Advising Committee

This two-hour workshop will allow participants to develop a better understanding of the transfer process, from the perspectives of Admissions staff, a transfer advisor and a transfer student. Emphasis will be placed on transfer advising FAQs and resources for transfer advisors. Participants will also be able to learn more about the application process, transfer scholarships and transfer student orientation. Lastly, participants will have the opportunity to hear from current transfer students on their transfer experience. An optional networking lunch will follow. 

Optional networking lunch to follow from 12:15-1:15 p.m.
