Description
The Southwest Missouri Area Health Education Center will hold a MASH Camp in Springfield from June 21-22 on the Southwest Baptist University Springfield Campus.
A short introduction to MASH Camp:
• MASH (Missouri AHEC Science and Health) Camp is a two-day camp for students entering 9th-2th grade in Springfield and surrounding communities.
• The camp will include activities and speakers who emphasize science and healthcare professions.
• Most of the activities are scheduled for about a one-hour time slot (or more as needed) and the activities are associated with the profession that is represented.
• The camp will be maxed at 20 students so register early!
The camp’s focus is to expose these young students to health care and the different fields it encompasses. The hope is that the early exposure will help them decide what fields truly interest them and guide their future career path.
