Description

Ready for an experience like none other? Apply to become a Student Orientation, Advisement & Registration (SOAR) leader!

SOAR leaders:

  • Interact with new students, their family members, faculty and staff.
  • Improve skills employers search for, like communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Inform new students about Missouri State, its academic expectations and campus life.
  • Inspire a future generation of MSU students.

As a SOAR leader, you will enjoy several benefits, including:

  • Lead and facilitate groups of about 15 students during SOAR sessions.
  • Grow your leadership abilities through training and experience.
  • Earn over $3,500, and room and board during SOAR sessions.
