Blackboard Learn: Virtual Black Belt Level Training

This is the final level of the Blackboard Black Belt training series. Green Belt users can take this course to learn about more advanced features of Blackboard Learn. The Black Belt course focuses on adding more engaging content to courses through media files and online resources, as well as how to utilize group work and learning modules more effectively. This course also explores the different ways to monitor student activity and performance in Blackboard.

Prerequisite: Participants will need to complete the Green Belt Level training prior to attending Black Belt Level courses. Green Belt Level courses are presented through in-person classes and through self-paced, on-demand video classes at Blackboard.MissouriState.edu in the Learning Management System for Faculty organization, found under the Community tab.

This course will count as one activity towards your Certified Distance Educator Award. All certified Black Belts receive a certificate of completion, a 4" magnetic patch, and a digital badge to recognize this professional development achievement. Black Belts also gain access to the Black Belt Virtual Dojo organization and receive exclusive invitations to webinars, sneak peeks at upcoming features, and the annual Black Belt Summit to maintain their mastery and earn the current year's patch.
