Tough Talks: Is this a defining moment?

It may be premature to say things have calmed down. There are not as many protests, and the issue of police reform and funding has taken a lot of the lead news stories. But we must admit there seems to have been a sea change on many levels…why, even Aunt Jemima is coming off the box. That may be the point - are we merely righting decades old changes and having some wake up moments and protests, or is there a fundamental change in the institutional structure of this nation that will last and social change will in fact occur?
