Community Language Open House

Have you always wanted to try a foreign language, but you were not sure you would be good at it, that you would like it, or if you would like the teacher? Try one for free and find out!

Our community language open house is the perfect opportunity to see if our language courses are right for you. Prospective language learners are invited to attend a brief lesson, meet the instructors and get a feeling for what language learning is like. Lessons will be 20 minutes in length to give you the opportunity to try multiple languages. Available languages include: Arabic, Chinese, French, Hindi, German, Ancient Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, ESL and ASL.

Our open house is free and open to the public. Come alone or bring friends or family to try out one or more languages.

6-6:20 p.m. - Session 1

6:25-6:45 p.m. - Session 2

6:45-7 p.m. - Meet Instructors

7-7:30 p.m. - Check out language clubs and cultural activities
