The success of all STEM students, particularly those underrepresented in STEM fields, depends on classroom and laboratory experiences that are engaging and inclusive.

In this seminar, participants will be introduced to SCALE-UP (student-centered active learning environment for undergraduate programs). They will learn through data and examples the ways in which SCALE-UP and other ‘active learning’ pedagogies promote inclusive and effective learning in STEM classes.
