Inventing the Ozarks Past, Present and Future: An Evening of Readings and Songs

Join us on Monday, September 30th as we celebrate the publication of TechnOzarks: Essays in Technology, Regional Economy, and Culture with a book launch event.

Edited by MSU Dean of Libraries, Thomas A. Peters, and Distinguished Professor of Biology, Paul L. Durham, TechnOzarks is the latest publication of the Ozarks Studies Institute, an initiative of the Missouri State University Libraries.

Lavishly illustrated in hardcover, the book supports the 2019 MSU Public Affairs Conference, “The 21st Century Digital World,” to be held October 1-3 on the Missouri State University campus.

The book launch event will feature members of the MSU Opera Theatre, with a program alternating between regionally inspired music and readings from TechnOzarks. 

The event is free and open to the public.
