The departments of Physics, Astronomy and Materials Science and Chemistry at MSU are pleased to present a joint departmental seminar featuring Dr. S. Joshua Swamidass. 

Swamidass is a MD/Ph.D. from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, who works with computation at the intersection of medicine, biology and chemistry.

Swamidass has a highly interdisciplinary research area, connecting computational drug design/molecular docking, biomedical science, bioinformatics, data mining and machine learning, and fundamental biochemistry. Learn more about him.
