Help the MSU Libraries celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the telegram that named the historic 'Mother Road'; Route 66!
We'll be at the corner of Jefferson & St. Louis in downtown Springfield (MSU parking lot 40) with cupcakes, commemorative buttons, and souvenir telegrams. Don't forget to snap a pic with our giant replica of the telegram that started it all!
Remarks will be made at 4:00 p.m. in honor of the time the telegram was sent back in 1926.
