Description

The Art+Design Department will host photographer Zora Murff and design group Posters Without Borders to share their practices and perspectives with our students, the university and the broader community. Our guests will give free public lectures on their art and design work.

Zora Murff is a visiting assistant professor of photography at the University of Arkansas. He received his M.F.A. in studio art from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and holds a B.S. in Psychology from Iowa State University. Combining his education in human services and art, Murff's work explores how photography is intertwined with social and cultural constructs.

Posters Without Borders (Erin Wright, Antonio Castro, Eric Boelts) is an invitational international initiative that organizes calls for graphic designers to raise awareness of a variety of social and political issues.
