The Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) is a single-day conference to help advance the achievements of Springfield high school students and help them gain access to higher education. YES sessions are divided into various tracks, where students are separated by grade level. YES is planned by the NAACP Springfield Chapter and the Missouri State University Multicultural Services unit in conjunction with Missouri State Admissions, Enrollment Management and Springfield Public Schools.
