2nd Annual MoState Student Summit
Date and time
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, April 27, 2019
Description

Missouri State University prides itself as being a Public Affairs institution, as well as its development of students who utilize the three pillars of ethical leadership, cultural competence and community engagement to guide their advancement as citizen leaders. Multicultural Programs strives to build a stronger, more culturally competent, inclusive and progressive community at the university by promoting initiatives focused on student growth and development, as well as the exploration of identity and self.

The #MoStateStudentSummit was created to serve as a collaboration between Multicultural Programs and Diversity and Inclusion to engage undergraduate and graduate students in deeper involvement with the campus Collaborative Diversity Conference. The summit allows students to take on the roles as presenters and provide an interactive and transformative forum for participants to engage in critical discourse around issues of social justice and make steps toward social change.

The theme of this year's conference is "Leading Across the Cultural Divide." The 2019 MoState Student Summit is planned in collaboration with Mo State Lead.
