Come learn about historical and present figures with African and Latinx roots who have shaped our world today. Millions of us can trace our lineage back to the slave trade that brought Blacks out of Africa and relocated them across Latin America and the Caribbean. Who were some important individuals? How can we connect with our roots? What does studying abroad have to do with any of this?
